Thanh Phuoc – Ben Tre solar power plant

The investment in Thanh Phuoc – Binh Dai Solar Power Plant is very necessary to supplement the power supply for the continuously developing load demand of the country in general and Ben Tre province in particular, contributing to minimizing pollution. environment, in order to develop clean energy sources to ensure the commitment of the Prime Minister on climate change of the United Nations. At the same time, contributing to increasing the proportion of renewable energy in the electricity system of Vietnam according to the Decision No. 2068/QD-TTg dated November 25, 2015 of the Prime Minister approving the energy development strategy. Vietnam’s renewable energy to 2030, with a vision to 2050 and the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 428/QD-TTg, dated March 18, 2016 approving the adjustment of the National Power Development Plan for the 2011 period. 2020 with a view to 2030.
In addition, the investment in the works is consistent with the general planning of economic development combined with environmental protection of the province.
Thanh Phuoc – Binh Dai Solar Power Plant is expected to be built with a total capacity of 50MWp. The plant’s construction site has good solar energy potential, with an estimated output of 77,043 million kWh/year. The plant uses monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic cell technology and string inverter with the connection plan to the Binh Dai 22/110kV substation by a single circuit line with a length of about 2.5km.
The project is built on an inefficient aquaculture land managed by the People’s Committee of Binh Dai District and the Ben Tre Provincial Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients, Disabled People and Orphans and approved by the People’s Committee of Ben Tre Province at Document No. 4935/UBND-TCĐT, dated October 19, 2010 of the People’s Committee of Ben Tre province on the implementation of the solar power plant in Thanh Phuoc commune, Binh Dai district.
110kV cut-off station to connect Thanh Phuoc Solar Power Plant to the power system built on Agro-Forestry (RSX) land, adjacent to the 110kV line of Binh Dai Wind Power Plant 10.11 – Binh Dai 110kV substation (under construction). construction design), near the position of crossing the traffic road (Provincial Road 886).

This is the research phase to add the project to the electricity development planning of Ben Tre province. After the project is additionally approved, in the next design steps, the consulting agency and the Investor cooperate with local departments and agencies to survey and investigate detailed data for service delivery. The design work is exactly in line with the local planning and the projects jointly implemented in the province.
